Unifor Ford members,

As the next step in our ratification procedure, the full elected leadership of all Unifor Ford locals met in Toronto today for a briefing on the tentative agreement with Ford Motor Company.

Following the presentation, the leadership group voted unanimously to support the tentative agreement.

“This collective and unanimous endorsement across Ford operations indicates the strength of the gains made in this tentative deal with major wins on pensions, on wages and on benefits,” said Unifor Ford Master Bargaining Chair John D’Agnolo. “As the pattern-setting tentative agreement, we believe this will raise standards for workers across the entire auto sector and beyond.”

Ratification meetings for Unifor Ford members will take place tomorrow, Saturday, September 23, with vote results to be released Sunday.

In solidarity,

Lana Payne, National President
John D’Agnolo, Ford Master Bargaining Chair
Marc Brennan, Ford Master Bargaining Vice-Chair
