Unifor local leadership endorse tentative agreement with Ford Motor Company

Leadership from Unifor locals representing members at Ford Motor Company enthusiastically endorsed the tentative agreement reached between the union and the company on July 11. Union representatives from locals 707, 200, 584, 1087, 240 and 1324 met in Richmond Hill, Ont. today where they were briefed prior to a united vote in support of the tentative agreement. The full Master Bargaining Committee and National and local leaders collectively recommend support of the tentative agreement and are encouraging members at Ford to vote in favour of the deal. Full details of the tentative agreement will be presented to members at ratification meetings, taking place July 17-19. Results will be released following the final vote.
